GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The RAMSPEED Model 4000-2000-1000 ATC6 is a multi-purpose machine designed for high speed milling, die finishing, and other operations. The worktable allows a high (work) load while the two columns support the upper unit that performs the three movements (X-Y-Z) of the machine.

The longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes are driven by asynchronous electric motors with recirculating ballscrews.

On the X-Y-Z axiis, the motors drive a recirculating ball screw by means of a belt and pulley system.

Each axis moves on four grease-lubricated slideways.

The spindle is equipped with a hydraulic tool clamping and unclamping device.

The spindle taper is to ISO standards.

The hydraulic power pack, the pneumatic system and grease-lubrication power pack are mounted on the machine.

Milling head temperature is controlled by a cooling system.

All controls and devices are housed in a special electrical cabinet.

The keyboard and the video of the control unit with the related control panel are grouped in a specific panel.

Machine is equipped with full guarding and safety lockouts, mist coolant, and nested tool holder.
